Just in case you don’t lap up all of the French Onion Soup, use 3 cups of the leftovers to make this delicious rice. I served this with a baked sweet potatoes topped with cinnamon to create a sweet and salty plate that feels like comfort food.
French Onion Brown & Forbidden Rice
Prep Time: 10
Cook Time: 1 hour
- 3 cups of French Onion Soup
- 1/4 cup of vegan margarine
- 2/3 cup brown rice
- 1/3 cup of forbidden rice
Preheat oven to 350F.
Combine ingredients in a 9×9 baking dish.
Cover with foil and bake 1 hour.
Check to ensure rice is tender. If not continue cooking an additional 15 minutes.
